The next place she went to was the University of Arizona. She became a three time All-American and also the First Baseman. She was named America's Best Softball Player at the end of 2001 by the Wildcats who won the championship, and again in 2002. Wounded warrior amputee softball (WWAST) is a collective consisting of amputees who have a purpose to promote awareness and raise funds by playing exhibition games, celebrity softball teams, and other activities that highlight the courage and sacrifices that our military personnel and their ability to conquer any challenge.
